Bumble Bee Physio is a popular, specialist children’s physiotherapy service which provides fun and quality paediatric physiotherapy at their beautiful open space clinic in South Hampstead.

 Our determined and hard-working children have so much fun they forget they’re working hard! Our superstars at BBP have a range of conditions including Rett Syndrome, cerebral palsy, Angelman syndrome, autism, Down’s syndrome and more. 

Our open-gym clinic in South Hampstead is full of state-of-the-art equipment for DMI therapy and Targeted Training, with gait trainers, standing frames, Lycra suits, orthotics and more! Up to two children are treated with one-to-one physios, in the large, welcoming space. This is the perfect balance of friendliness and distraction, without the overwhelming noise of a huge open clinic. 

Here at Bumble Bee Physio, our child physiotherapy takes a different and specialist approach.
After all, if you broke your leg, you wouldn’t go to a stroke physiotherapist! We believe paediatric physiotherapy should take the same approach, and only trust in the best, experienced and specific care for your child’s neurological diagnosis. Adult services are typically split across different specialities with no cross-training, and we apply the same high-quality style to our own paediatric physiotherapy service in London. ‘Children’ is an age group, NOT a speciality! Unlike other children’s physiotherapy services which offer basic and ‘general’ paediatric care because our skills are specific to paediatric neurology. We are also able to provide virtual physiotherapy assessment and treatment, highly specialist second opinions, and liaise with your own children’s physiotherapy team if you live outside London. Find out more here.
During our children’s physio sessions, your child and family come first. All of our short, medium and long-term measurable goals are tailored to your specific needs. Whether that’s transferring to a plane seat for a summer holiday, standing with support to play at a water table or improving head control to smile and laugh with friends, we always put our Superheroes’ wishes first. If our physio friend is non-verbal, don’t worry! We have lots of experience in understanding our non-verbal friends, and enjoy working out their likes, dislikes and motivations! Our London clinics
Our home clinic is in South Hampstead, a beautiful leafy open space in the heart of Hampstead, full of state-of-the art equipment for DMI, targeted training and more.
South Hampstead clinic
Our open-space clinic at the Abbey Centre is bright and friendly, and we see up to two children at a time for therapy sessions. This works perfectly for a little socialisation and distraction from the hard work, while not being too overwhelming for our clients. We have a team of four physiotherapists working here throughout the week, and often an additional physiotherapist will be available for second opinions and very challenging exercises!
